This spacious architectural home, designed by noted architect, John Porter, is the ultimate Venice hideaway. It’s located on a quiet one-way street, in one of the best areas in Los Angeles, California. The famous Abbot Kinney is just steps away. Stop by the French Market Cafe for coffee and croissants, then stroll 15-20 minutes through the scenic canals to the beach! With vaulted wood ceilings and plenty of skylights, it’s bright and airy, totally relaxing…

The house has a fully equipped kitchen that opens to a private deck, perfect for al fresco dining. The tropical garden is a tranquil setting, great for a picnic or sitting by the fire pit BBQ.

You can rent either one, two or three two bedrooms in the home and/ or the loft guest house:

THE ENTIRE HOME

This includes the spacious open living space with vaulted ceilings,
skylights, kitchen, balcony, fireplace, dining deck, living, dining areas. There
are 2 bathrooms, and 3 bedrooms; two with queen beds and one with two
twins that can be put together to form a king, and a trundlebed.

THE LOFT/GUESTHOUSE

This is a large open living space with vaulted wood ceilings, draped
skylights, a new bathroom and a mini kitchen with a new Fisher Paykel
stainless steel refrigerator, a microwave/convection combination oven,
and a stainless steel hot plate. Originally an art studio, it has been converted
to a spacious living loft. Paint splattered floors contrast with modern furnishings;
a comfy queen bed with fluffy down bedding, a modular couch that can be
put together to sleep 1-2 more, a 32″ Sony plasma flat panel HDTV, lots of books
and magazines, and a stereo. Sleeps 4 (or up to 7 on aerobeds.)

TWO BEDROOMS IN THE HOME

This option includes the skylit open living space with kitchen,
balcony, dining deck, fireplace, living, and dining areas. There is 1 bathroom
and 2 bedrooms; one with a queen bed and one with two twins that can
be put together to form a king. Sleeps up to 9 guests.

THE GUEST ROOM

The master bedroom can be closed off from the rest of the home and
rented separately. It has a private entrance and a patio facing the
tropical garden with firepit and teak table under the orange tree. There’s
a full bath, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and a queen bed.
It sleeps 2 guests.

All bedrooms have TVs, wireless internet, and cable. All linens and
towels, beach towels and taxes are included. There’s plenty of street
parking and there’s an additional parking space available in the alley.

VACATION RENTAL RATES:

PEAK SEASON (May 1 through September 30, and Holidays):
Guest Room w/1 bath $800 week (daily rate $125)
2 Bedroom w/1 bath $2500 week (daily rate $400)
3 Bedroom w/2 baths $2800 week (daily rate $425)
Guest House w/1 bath $1100 week (daily rate $175)

Cleaning Fee: $60 for the Guest Room, $85 for the Guest House, $150 for 2 bedrooms, and $175 for 3 bedrooms.
Refundable Security Deposit: $300 for the Guest Room, $750 for the Guest House, $1000 for 2 or 3 bedrooms.
